Are individual lessons available for children and adults?
Yes — we provide individual lessons for children and adults. The instructor will adjust the pace and program to your age and skill level.
What do I need to begin individual training with an instructor?
For individual training with an instructor, please prepare:
– individual training fee
– ski/snowboard equipment
– ski lift pass for yourself (lift rides for instructors are covered by the ski school)
– warm ski/snowboard clothing
– and of course, lots of enthusiasm 🙂
Can I book a lesson for any date?
Yes, subject to instructor schedule availability. Single hours can be used during your stay, and season packages can be used throughout the whole season.
Can I choose between skiing or snowboarding?
Yes — choose your discipline during booking. Our instructors provide lessons in both disciplines.
How many people can take part in one lesson?
One individual lesson accommodates a maximum of 3 participants with one instructor. The price is shared across the entire group.
How do season packages differ from single lessons?
Season packages are bundles of hours to use throughout the entire ski season. Single lessons are booked for a specific date and time during your stay.
What does the price for individual training with an instructor include?
The price for training with an instructor includes:
– 55 min of ski instruction
– priority lift queue access
In addition, HSKI Ski School covers lift passes for the instructor.
*The price does not include equipment or a lift pass, which should already be arranged prior to the start of the lesson.
Where do the lessons take place?
We hold lessons at Harenda (HSKI meeting point), Gubałówka, and Nosal. You choose the location during booking.
Can I rent ski / snowboard equipment from you?
Our school does not operate a rental service. However, equipment can be rented on site at the Harenda-Zakopane Ski Resort. Rental shops are located on both sides of our office, and prior reservation is not required. The rental shops stock a full range of ski and snowboard equipment at prices from 30 PLN to 40 PLN per day/set (skis/snowboard, boots, poles, helmet) and 10 PLN per hour/set. The nearest rental shop is only 5 m away.
Can I purchase a lift pass from you?
Ski lift passes can be purchased at the ticket counters located next to the school — price list:

Does the instructor assist with selecting ski equipment?
There is no need for the instructor to help select equipment. All equipment rental shops at the Harenda-Zakopane Resort employ properly trained staff who will assist you in choosing the appropriate gear.
Can I cancel or reschedule a lesson?
Yes — in accordance with HSKI terms and conditions. Please contact the school office at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time.
