21 Nov Event of high rank comes back to Zakopane! Great names on Harenda!

This winter you will be able to see the best competitors on Harenda in Zakopane. The event of FIS rank, after many years, comes back again to Poland. Within 11 and 12 February 2017 the EUROPEAN CUP in men’s slalom will be played out, what means that Harenda will be visited by many of the finest competitors of the World Cup!!! Known for everyday struggling on the most difficult pistes in the world, this time will deal with black piste on ski slope in Zakopane.

Organizers announce that slalom run will be specially prepared and its arrangement will fit to very technical competitors. We already know, unofficially, that we can expect such competitors as:
Felix Neureuther (Germany) – the winner of 12 World Cups who had an opportunity to train on Harenda in the past!

Formerly, Harenda Ski Centre was the organizer of many significant events, it was here where women’s slalom, as part of the European Cup, was played out twice. These events were very high-rated and the organization itself – as exemplary! HSKI also had a hand in both events where it was responsible for, among others, preparation of pistes during contests.

The upcoming European Cup in men’s slalom is supposed to be a pass to opportunity of applying for organization of the most important event which is the World Cup in slalom, what could be for Zakopane a ski dream come true and accentuation that Zakopane is not only a winter capital, but also a capital of the most important ski events and next to the World Cup in ski jumping, it will also host another edition – this time a typically ski one!
